Good old Batiste Dry Shampoo Original is my ride or die. When you live in a big city and every day you feel like all the dirt of the universe is chilling on you now; when you washed your hair yerterday and it’s already looking not-so-chic; when you had a good 12 hour sleep and your hair is a visual representation of The Freaking Big Mess; when your hair just look strange/flat/you name it – Batiste is the answer. My favorite dry shampoo. The bee’s knees. My only desire is its scent-free version.
Bath & Body Works Twilight Woods is a foolproof day time body lotion. It absorbs quickly, moisturizes and has a sweet smell of amber, vanilla and wood.
I got this Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion during the desperate times (for my skin). The times got over as sudden as they began, but the lotion stayed at my bathroom shelf. And I might say it’s a good one! If you love Clinique lotions (love/hate product, I know), this one is surprisingly milder than the Clarifying Lotion 2 from their regular line. The lotion genlty exfoliates to clear dead surface cells, reduces excess oil and makes your skin look more even and bright. If you’ve never tried Clinique skin care – go for the sample / travel sizes. You will thank me later.
Internet famous Embryolisse Hydra-Masque is not a miracle product, at least for me. It’s kind of cheap in France but it works just like any drugstore moisturizer, so I won’t repurchase it. I’d love to hear your moisturizing mask recommendations, guys!
I got this Dior Creme Abricot Nail Cream during my crazy shopping times in a beautiful department store called Printemps. The porcelain looking jar is beautiful, so the aromatic cream itself is. It’s very nourishing yet very sticky, so I could use it only before to go to bed. Quite pricey (c’est Dior!), smells like aprocot jam, makes your nails grow insanely fast. Now I’m back to my all time favorite Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter cuticle cream, and honestly I have absolutely no regrets about it.
Russian miracle hand creams Camomile and Glycerin and Velour are everything I ever wanted in a hand cream and I am so very sorry you can get them only in my native country. My hands are extremely sensitive and problematic in all the ways. These bad boys are getting the job done way better than anything I’ve tried before. These creams are healing pretty much everything overnight, they are not sticky nor greasy, smell ok, look good and cost almost nothing.
Dermophil Haute Tolerance Lip Balm is a good one. It’s great under a matte lipstick or a sticky lipgloss, during the day time or before bed. No fragrance, no taste, no miracles though plus cheap as hell.
I hope all of you guys are having the best June ever! I’m leaving to the beautiful Saint Petersburg next week and I already can’t wait to show you the photographs!
