As a natural born rebel and hedonist I’ve always deeply believed that life is too short for enjoying ice cream only in spring and summer. Actually, I believe it’s even better in colder season – you get an ice cream, not an ice cream soup. But today let’s talk frozen yogurt.
The story of frozen desserts goes back thousands of years to India and Asia. Frozen yogurt as we know it appeared in the 70s. And in my life it appeared only several years ago and ever since it keeps those nostalgic memories of a greek vacation.
It’s not hard to find a frozen yogurt place in Paris, but I am always serious about my desserts. I degustated, compared, degustated again and picked my favorite – Rosa Kiwi.
While (let’s be honest) the yogurt itself is almost identical in all of these places, Rosa Kiwi stands out (and now let my inner fat kid talk!) with the best selection of toppings and seasonal froyo flavors, the nicest employees and comfortable and funky interior. Apart from frozen yogurts Rosa Kiwi has cookies, cakes, various hot drinks, juices and smoothies. They also have a fidelity card and I’m not even ashamed to have mine almost complete.
Besides it all, there is something truly extraordinary about Rosa Kiwi. This place is opened every day till 10:30 pm and MIDNIGHT twice a week. I don’t know how they do it, but it’s magical.
